For
bruhgrow for podcasters
Podcast production has a few repetitive steps that do not need a full editor: cutting dead air, bringing a quiet guest up to a standard loudness, converting WAV to MP3, pulling the audio track out of a video call. bruhgrow does each of these in your browser without uploading the episode.

A simple pre-edit routine
- 1Extract audio if your recording is a video (Zoom, Riverside export, screen recording).
- 2Remove silence to cut long pauses, with a little padding so it still sounds natural.
- 3Normalize audio to −16 LUFS, the common target for spoken-word podcasts.
- 4Convert to MP3 at the bitrate your host prefers.
Cover art and promo
Resize cover art to 3000 × 3000 and compress it under the size your host accepts. Make a short captioned clip for social media with Add subtitles.
Questions
- What loudness does Normalize audio target?
- −16 LUFS integrated, a common recommendation for podcasts. You can also save as WAV if you want to master elsewhere.
- Can it handle a two-hour recording?
- Yes, within your computer’s memory. Audio files are small compared to video, so long episodes are fine.
- Does anything get uploaded?
- No. Processing happens on your device.
