About Trim & merge video
Cut the dead seconds off the start and end, keep just the moment you need, or stitch several clips into one. The timeline shows frames so you can land cuts precisely, and when no re-encoding is needed the result is instant.
- Cutting on keyframes is instant and lossless; the tool snaps to them when you choose fast mode.
- Merging clips from the same camera works best; mixed sources are re-encoded to match.
- Use Compress video after trimming if the result still needs to be smaller.
How to use it
- 1Drop one video to trim, or several to merge.
- 2Set the in and out points, or arrange the clips in order.
- 3Export and download the MP4.
Questions
- Will trimming lower the quality?
- Not in fast mode, which copies the video without re-encoding. Precise mode re-encodes only the first and last seconds.
- Can I merge videos of different sizes?
- Yes. They are scaled to a common resolution you choose.
- Is my video uploaded?
- No. Everything runs in your browser, so your files never leave your device.
